Adding Analytics, Campaign Tracking, and Custom Code to Your Platform

You may need to set up specific preferences and track your site’s analytics and campaigns as part of your B2B marketing and sales efforts, or you may want to customize your storefront’s look and feel using custom code. It’s time to look at these advanced settings on your B2B Wave eCommerce platform. To access these, follow these steps:

Step 1. Go to Settings >Profile and look for the “Advanced” tab. 

Step 2. Make the relevant selections on this page and click “Save” to store your preferences. Specifically, here you will encounter the following fields:

Stable fields
Enable bottom right support button Check this option to allow the “Click for support” button on your Admin Dashboard
Meta Title For Homepage Enter here the title you want to be displayed in search engine result pages and browser tabs for your B2B store’s home page, if applicable
Add Extra Fields at Order Confirm and Customer Details Click here to transfer to the “Extra fields” page, where you can edit custom fields. Find out more about extra fields here
See all failed login attempts Click here to transfer to the “Failed logins” page, where you can view a list of all unsuccessful login attempts and the corresponding IP addresses. Remember that you can click “Reset failed logins” to delete this log -this might be useful if you have users blocked from accessing your B2B store because they tried to log in to it many times without success
App Code / API Token The field showcases your app code and B2B Wave API token, respectively
Google Analytics Code tab
Google Analytics Code Insert here your B2B site’s Google site tag (gtag.js) to integrate analytics into your site. Find out more about this procedure in this article
Custom CSS tab
Custom CSS Place custom CSS here to manipulate how your storefront displays. To access class names and IDs, go to your storefront, right-click (or control-click), and choose “Inspect” from the drop-down menu

Conversion Tracking tab
Google Ads Customer registration tracking/Order submit tracking  Click here to enter the relevant conversion tracking code to see how effective your ads fare
Facebook Ads 
Customer registration tracking/Order submit tracking
Enter here the Meta pixel base code related to the event you want to track to see how effective your marketing efforts are
Custom  Code tab
Custom code for <head> section Enter here custom code to customize the <head> section of your storefront (e.g., fonts or CSS or JavaScript library)
Custom code for <body> section (after opening) Add any piece of embeddable code that should be added at the beginning of the body section of your website
Custom code for <body> section (after closing) Enter any piece of embeddable code that should be added at the end of the body section of your website. This is also the recommended field to add any <script> tags for custom JavaScript code to customize your storefront
Custom Code (Admin panel) tab
Custom CSS Place custom CSS here to manipulate how your Admin Panel displays
Custom code for <body> section (after opening) Enter any piece of embeddable code that should be added at the beginning of the body section of your Admin Panel
Custom code for <body> section (before closing) Insert here any piece of embeddable code that should be added at the end of the body section of your Admin Panel. This is also the recommended field to add any <script> tags for custom JS code to customize your dashboard
Cookie Policy Banner tab
Text box Add a text to inform users about your cookie policy or use the sample text provided by B2B Wave. The text you use here will appear at the top of your storefront

Global notifications tab
Message type* Select the relevant type from the drop-down menu
Text that will appear on top of every page*  Enter the text visitors can view storefront. Remember that global notifications allow you to inform customers who visit your online B2B store about a sale, limited offers, or important news about your business’s operation (e.g., that your store will be closed on a specific day).
