PayPal Integration
B2B Wave integrates with PayPal, allowing you to accept credit card payments for orders. Note that you must have a PayPal Business account to generate an API signature to integrate with B2B Wave.
NOTE: You can upgrade your PayPal account to business by clicking here. Otherwise, you can log in to your personal PayPal account, then click the “Settings” icon (gear symbol), scroll to the bottom of the page, and select “Upgrade to a Business account.”
Now, let’s see how to set up the integration on your B2B Wave account.
Step 1. Log in to your PayPal Business account.
Step 2. Click the “Settings” icon (gear symbol) on your PayPal account page, and select “Account Settings.”
Step 3. Go to the “Account access” submenu, look for the “API access” item, and click “Update.”
Step 4. Look for the“NVP/SOAP API Integration (Classic)” section on the “PayPal API” page. Then, click “Manage API credentials” to generate an API signature.
NOTE: If you’ve already created an API signature, click “Manage API Credentials” to display the signature information. If you must generate a new API signature, click “Remove” to delete the existing API signature.
Step 5. Select “Request API signature.” Then, click “Agree and Submit.”
Step 6. On the page that opens, look for the live credentials of your API signature by clicking “Show” beside each field, namely “API Username,” “API Password,” and “Signature.”
Step 7. Open B2B Wave, go to Settings>Payment options, and click “Paypal.”
Step 8. Paste the PayPal live credentials in the appropriate fields on the page that opens. Specifically, copy “API Username” to the “API Login *” field, “API Password” to the “API Password *” field, and “Signature” to the “API Signature *” field.
Step 9. To allow live transaction processing, select “Production” from the drop-down menu under the “Mode*” field. Then, choose “Authorize & Sale” from the drop-down menu in the “Capture Amount *” field.
Step 10. Remember to check the “Active” box to enable PayPal as a payment option for your B2B portal.
