Product Sorting
You can allow customers to sort products on your storefront and use a series of filters to browse through your offering.
Enabling Product Sorting
To enable product sorting for your B2B store, complete the following steps:
Step 1. Go to Settings >Profile and clickthe “Application Configuration” tab.
Step 2. Look for the “Product attributes” section, check the “Manage sort order of products” box, and click “Save.” When checked, the Sort submenu will appear under the Products menu on your Admin Panel.
Step 3. Go to Products >Sort. When you click it, the “Sort products” page will open. Through it, you can sort products by dragging and dropping them in the desired order.
You can choose to do so using the following options:
| All products | Select this option if you want to see all products when arranging their order |
| By Root Categories | Choose this option if you want products’ main categories to appear when sorting them |
| By Category | Select this option if you want products to be arranged in their categories and subcategories when sorting them |
Importantly, customers can view this order when they choose the “Recommended” sort option on your storefront.
Product Sorting Options on your Storefront
Once you enable product sorting for your B2B store, customers can browse your products using different filtering options.
Specifically:
| Code A to Z | Sorts products based on their assigned SKU number in ascending order (e.g., SKU001, SKU002) |
| Code Z to A | Presents products based on their assigned SKU number in descending order (e.g., SKU002, SKU001) |
| Status A to Z | Sorts products based on their status in ascending alphabetical order (e.g., Available, Backorder) |
| Status Z to A | Presents products based on their status in descending alphabetical order (e.g., Backorder, Available) |
| Name A to Z | Sorts products based on their name in ascending alphabetical order (e.g., Camel Brown Hat, Knit Beanie) |
| Name Z to A | Presents products based on their name in descending alphabetical order (e.g., Knit Beanie, Camel Brown Hat) |
| Oldest to newest | Sorts products based on the date you’ve added them to your B2B store in ascending chronological order |
| Newest to oldest | Presents products based on the date you’ve added them to your B2B store in descending alphabetical order |
| Brand A to Z | Sorts products based on their brand name in ascending alphabetical order (e.g., Demo Accessories, Wholesale Apparel) |
| Brand Z to A | Presents products based on their brand name in descending alphabetical order (e.g., Wholesale Apparel, Demo Accessories) |
| Price low to high | Sorts products based on the price, ascending from the ones with the lower price to the ones with the higher price (e.g., $40, $120) |
| Price high to low | Presents products based on the price, descending from the ones with the higher price to the ones with the lower price (e.g., $120, $40) |
| Recommended | Displays products in the sorting order arranged by the store’s admin(s) through Products >Sort |
NOTE: To change the default order sorting options that appear on your storefront, please get in touch with our support team.
Finally, customers can choose how many products they want to view per page. Specifically, they can view 30, 60, or 90 products per page through the relevant filter.
