Customer Homepage Products
Let’s say that you have specific products that some customers always buy from your online B2B store or new products which you think will appeal to certain customers.
With your B2B Wave eCommerce platform, you can make the buying experience easier, quicker, and more personalized for customers by selecting certain products to appear on your storefront’s homepage when they log in. These products are specific to each customer.
You can set suggested products manually or assign them to your customers in bulk. Let’s see how.
Setting Customer Homepage Products Manually
Step 1. Go to the Customers menu on your Admin Dashboard and choose the customer to whom you want to suggest specific products.
Step 2. Go to the “Customer homepage products” tab on the “Editing customer” page and click “+ Add Product” to select which product(s) you want to add to the Suggested Products section of the customer’s homepage. Once you are done, click “Save.”
Step 3. To check how suggested products appear on your customer’s storefront, click on the Customers menu on your Admin Dashboard, look for the specific customer, and click the “View as” icon.
As you see in the image below, customers can quickly enter the quantities they want to order for each suggested product, click “Add to Order +,” and easily add them to their cart.
Bulk Importing Customer Homepage Products
You can mass import suggested products for your customer via an Excel spreadsheet (.xlsx), following these steps:
Step 1. Go to Tools >Import Customers on your Admin Dashboard and select “Export existing customers” to download your customer list.
Step 2. Open the spreadsheet and locate the “customer_preferred_products” column.
Step 3. Add the codes/SKUs of the products you want to suggest to your customers, separating each SKU with a comma. Make sure that you leave no spaces between codes.
Step 4. Go to Tools >Import Customers >Choose File and import your spreadsheet. Remember that your file should be in .xlsx format.
