Embedding YouTube Videos

You can share videos with important information about products, specific collections, your company, or useful tips with your customers. Let’s see how you can embed YouTube videos on your B2B store’s pages. In this article, we will go over the procedure for embedding videos to product pages. However, you can do this for all pages you create through your B2B Wave eCommerce platform.

Step 1. Go to the YouTube page of the video you want to embed and click “Share.”

Step 2. Click “Copy” to copy the video’s URL on the pop-up window that appears. Also, make sure that you set the “Start” option to 0:00, as shown below.

Step 3. Go to Products >Products and select the product on which’s page you want to embed the video. Then, go to the “Description” field and click the video embed button.

Step 4. Add the link to the “Paste YouTube video URL” field on the open pop-up window. Also, make sure you check the “Make Responsive (ignore width and height, fit to width)” option to allow video to adapt to different device screens that your customers use (e.g., tablets, mobile phones, and desktops). Uncheck all other boxes on this page if checked but leave the “Show player controls” checked. Then click “Ok” and “Save” on the product page.

NOTE: You can add more videos by repeating the process above – your videos will appear below one another.

The embedded video will appear on the product's page on your storefront.
