Related Products

Products that customers usually buy together can appear on your B2B eCommerce platform’s storefront. Specifically, you can add a “Related Products” section on an individual product’s page containing links to other relevant products. 

You can add related products manually or in bulk. Let’s see how you can do this.

Setting Related Products Manually

To add related products manually, follow these steps:

Step 1. Go to Products >Products on your Admin Dashboard and click on the product for which you want to add related products.

Step 2. On the “Editing product” page, look for the “Related products” tab, and click “+” to start adding. On the “Editing product” page, look for the “Related products” tab, and click “+” to start adding. 

Step 3. Click “Save” to keep the changes. Then, the selected products will appear on your storefront.

Assigning Related Products in Bulk

To assign related products in bulk, complete these steps:

Step 1. Go to Products >Import on your Admin Dashboard.

Step 2. Click “Sample file import” to download a template file if you have not previously uploaded any products to your B2B eCommerce platform.

Step 3. Open the spreadsheet, look for the “related_products” column, and enter the relevant product code(s), separating them with a comma (,) and making sure to not leave any space between each code.

Step 4. Go to Products >Import, click “Choose File” to upload your file, and then “Import” to automatically add products to the “Related products” section on your storefront. Remember that your file should be in .xlsx format.

NOTE: If you have previously uploaded products on your online B2B store, go to  Products >Export to export your product list. Then repeat  Steps 3 & 4, as described above.
