Through our integration with MailChimp, you can add your B2B Wave customers to your MailChimp audiences. The connection is a one-way connection from B2B Wave to MailChimp, so deleting and editing contacts must be done through the MailChimp Audiences Menu. Also, be aware that MailChimp integration is not enabled by default. To enable it, please contact our support team.
Once enabled, you will first need to obtain your MailChimp API Key. Go to the MailChimp API Dashboard and press 'Generate Key'. Once Generated, verify that the status is active and then save your API Key.
Next, go to the MailChimp Configuration window in the 'Integrations' tab under the Settings->Profile menu in your Admin Dashboard. Enter the API Key that you just generated. Click 'Test Connection'. If you see an error message, you may not have copied the entire API Key. Go back to MailChimp, double click the API Key field, and scroll to the far right. The API Key characters farthest to the right are not visible from the MailChimp API menu.
After you have successfully connected to MailChimp, you will see a new menu in your Admin Dashboard called "Email marketing". Select this and then click "Export to MailChimp". If you have not already created an Audience in Mailchimp, you can create one by pressing 'Create a new Audience'. If you already have an Audience set up in MailChimp, select 'Use one of your existing audiences', and then select the Audience you want to export contacts to.
